I am building up a portfolio of small, medium and larger original art abstracts. I mostly use palette knife to cut into and spread acrylic paint on canvas (both stretched canvas and canvas board). Sometimes I use other techniques.
Some of these are faith-based, while others are specifically for mental health awareness. There is a lot of overlap in these collections, so some paintings will be in more than one category.

I experience my most spiritual moments when in nature – particularly when bird watching. I love most animals (I’m not a fan of things such as spiders and snakes!). Dogs are among my favourite animals but I have a long list of animals and birds that I love.
It will not come as any surprise that my love for animals and birds, and connection to nature, features in my artwork. I feel a spiritual connection to the world around me, and as an expression of my faith, I like to paint the things around me that I have an emotional and spiritual connection too.
My style includes a smoothly applied background and then I paint the animals in a part illustrative/ part realistic style. This is a style that has taken me a few years to develop and has become my ‘artistic voice’. This style is also used in my other collections of work. I mostly use acrylics on stretched canvas – ready to hang.

I experience my most spiritual moments when in nature – enjoying a variety of landscapes and seascapes. I love walking along the coast, by a lake/river, or in woodland. In particular I love walking in Puerto Pollensa, which is in the north of Mallorca. When in Mallorca I love walking along the coast, in the mountains, and in the nature reserves – enhanced by my love of birds.
Therefore, it will not come as any surprise that my love for walking in nature, features in my artwork. I feel a spiritual connection to the world around me, and as an expression of my faith, I like to paint the things around me that I have an emotional and spiritual connection too. This is evident in my paintings of landscapes/seascapes.
My style includes a smoothly applied background and usually a textured foreground. My paintings look partly realistic and partly illustrative. This is a style that has taken me a few years to develop and has become my ‘artistic voice’. This style is also used in my other collections of work. I mostly use acrylics on stretched canvas which are ready to hang.

Although similar to Prophetic Art (see below), I paint Christian Art images from Scripture or with a specific Christian theme. These differ from my other paintings because they are more identifiable as faith-based.
These paintings can be used for Christmas, Easter, baptisms, christenings, etc.
Individuals, Churches and other Christian Organisations/Charities might like to commission me. If this is something that you would be interested in please contact me so that we can discuss your requirements.
"Then the Lord said to Moses, “See, I have chosen Bezalel son of Uri, the son of Hur, of the tribe of Judah, and I have filled him with the Spirit of God, with wisdom, with understanding, with knowledge and with all kinds of skills— to make artistic designs for work in gold, silver and bronze, to cut and set stones, to work in wood, and to engage in all kinds of crafts." (Exodus 31:1-5 NIV)

All of us experience pain at some point in our lives. When we experience pain it oozes out in various areas of our life. Due to some traumatic experiences I developed many unhealthy coping experiences. During my recovery I have found that using a pallet knife to cut in acrylic paints is hugely therapeutic.
I use abstracts as a way of releasing the emotions within me – it gives me a voice. I find that these paintings connect at a deep level to a lot of people. They find that it also gives them a voice. I use my abstracts to raise awareness and to be an advocate of those experiencing mental health conditions. Please check out my portfolio of original art in my online shop.

Everyone is beautiful; everyone is unique. I love the way that portraits can capture a persons character and personality – whether they are cheeky, shy, sensitive, outgoing, etc. The same goes for pets. I love capturing beloved pets in a portrait.
Depending on your needs we can discuss, at time of commissioning me for a pet or human portrait, the best style of portrait that will capture their character and personality. Prices vary due to the size and medium used to create your artwork. I use acrylics, watercolours, and pastels - depending on the subject. I also do pencil and graphite human portraits. This overlaps with my Christian Art, although I use this term – for the purposes of this website – as a way of describing the times when I have an image in my mind that I’m asked to paint for a specific person.
There have been many times where God has commissioned me to paint a picture for someone specific – sometimes he tells me who it’s for, other times I’m approached by a stranger saying that it’s for them. Usually these images come to mind either while I’m praying or at night time.
